Contadino is the Italian word for a peasant farmer. I haven’t always been a contadino – until 2002 I was an IT/management consultant, based in London. With hindsight I can say that being a contadino is definitely preferable.

I think that it was either 2005 or 2006 that you escaped from being an IT/management consultant – certainly not 2002 anyway!
